Thank you for checking out Stone Mountain Village. We are located at the base of Stone Mountain, just outside the west gate of Stone Mountain Park. Map We are one of the few cities in Georgia with its own Visitor Center which is located in the historic caboose at the corner of Poole and Main Streets. There is plenty to do in Stone Mountain Village from shopping and dining, to seeing a play or visiting the gallery at ART Station, to taking the PATH into the park and enjoying the great outdoors.

About 10 years ago the Main Street Stone Mountain program – a private non-profit organization established to revitalize downtown through historic preservation, economic restructuring and promotional events – was established in the city. Through the leadership of some incredible and dedicated volunteers, the program has made great strides to organize and position itself as a road map to long-term success. To further ensure that success, City Council established the Downtown Development Authority, a public/private partnership, to take on downtown projects that boost revitalization efforts.
