Stone Mountain Village Walk and Wine

Beginning new this year the Stone Mountain Village Walk and Wine will take place every month during the spring and fall on the third Saturday of the month.  Each event will feature free wine tasting at many of our area shops from our local restaurants.  As you taste the wines and munch on snacks be sure to ask about specials being offered around the village in the shops and restaurants. 

Participating shops include: The Cranky Princess, Flower Boutique, Sweet Honey House, Stone Mountain Antique Mall, Glitzy Boutique, Art Station Gift Shop II, Good Sense Fragrances, Etched in Stone, Continental Coffee, Swan Gallery, and Village Hair Studio.

Wines will be provided by Sycamore Grill, Continental Coffee, and Mama Mia's Italian Restaurant.

In the late 1850’s on the Second Saturday in May, the surrounding communities came together in Stone Mountain Village for a day of dancing, eating, story swapping, and socializing. In keeping with this tradition, Stone Mountain welcomes you to join us in celebrating our past, present and future.

Come early to “pick your spot” on the Pavilion Lawn in the center of the Village starting at 4:00 PM to picnic and enjoy the Car Show and the company of your friends and neighbors. The 12th Annual performance by the Dekalb Symphony Orchestra will begin at 7:00 PM.

The Awards Presentation for the Car Show will be at the 8:15 intermission of the symphony.

Awards will be in the following categories:

Best of Show pre-1948-Best of Show post 1948-People’s Choice-Grand Champion-People’s Choice Runner Up-People’s Choice Third Place

$500 in Cash Prizes will be awarded.

36th Annual Arts and Crafts Festival  June 14-15th

 

The Art and Crafts Festival has been a mainstay in the Village for many years and the tradition continues into our 36th year. There will be scores of booths featuring the finest arts and crafts from the southeastern region. The Festival will also feature live music throughout the day on our Main Street Stage. Come on out and enjoy a beer with the music and browse around. Our 2nd Annual BBQ Cook-Off will be taking place on Saturday where you can eat and vote or enter to see if your BBQ can match up. On Sunday, the 2nd Annual Father Day Classic Car Show will pit some of the best restored and tricked out cars in the Atlanta area against each other for some major prizes.
